The main task of a dialog is to allow the user to specify parameters for an action that is to be performed or to change various preferences. All settings that have been made within the dialogs can be saved on demand to the configuration file of w3browse by the help of the "Setup Menu".
A number of input fields for entering or selecting parameters and at least two buttons are provided within a window. Activating the button Accept causes all settings to be taken over and the requested action is performed, but activating the button Cancel causes all changes to be discarded and the action does not take place.
