Form Elements

Form elements, also known as input elements, are used by viewer windows to provide some means to enter or select values within certain kinds of formulars and to send these values back to a server for further processing. Formulars are most often used with HTML. WML also offers some kind of data input, but it differs remarkably from the way in which it is handled in HTML. However, many simple and stateless WML formulars that do not span multiple cards are also supported by w3browse, but WML variables in general are not implemented.
