Administration Tools
This applet provides a collection of various
administration tools. It is part of all
request contexts and
therefore, these tools can always be accessed by using
internal URLs that start with the
prefix internal://admin/
.
In the following, all available administration tools are given as they
appear within overview lists and are supplemented by an additional short
description if necessary. Note that many tools just provide an HTML interface
to corresponding dialogs with almost the
same parameters, so no further description is given here in these cases.
Administration Tools
- CacheReorg - Reorganize and optionally cleanup a cache
- See the dialog "Reorganize Cache",
but the settings of the dialog are not used.
- Calendar - Display the calendar for a certain month or year
- DictIndex - Build a dictionary from a cache or the local filesystem
- See the dialog "Build Dictionary",
but the settings of the dialog are not used.
- EditPage - Edit web pages on the local filesystem
- Operates much the same way as Filescan does, but
additionally, certain types of files such as HTML, RSS and RDF documents can
be edited in a Wiki-like manner by using a text-based syntax, see section
"Web Page Editor" for a detailed
description.
- FetchDocs - Fetch documents recursively into a cache or the local filesystem
- See the dialog "Fetch Documents",
but the settings of the dialog are not used.
- Filescan - Treat the local filesystem as a website
- Files are served as usual and a directory listing is generated for
directories that do not provide one of the following index files
instead:
index.html
, INDEX.html
, index.htm
,
default.html
, default.htm
, index.wml
,
i.wml
.
- Filesys - Browse the local filesystem and edit or upload files
- Allows to perform many administrative tasks on files and directories
of the local filesystem and it is also possible to edit files either as plain
text or by using the web page editor for
certain types of files such as HTML, RSS and RDF.
- Mailto - Compose an e-mail with attachments and send it back
- Almost the same as the e-mail composer,
but the generated message is returned as plain text instead of being saved.
- W3bConfig - W3Browse Configuration
