This list window is opened either by the
URL window when entering cache:list
into the URL input field, or by the Dictionary
window when displaying the list of documents that are associated to a
particular word, or when a content-type related to a
remote cache is recognized during
processing of a response. The Cache window is used to browse and navigate
through a list of document references, which is usually just a list of
URLs.
The pop-up menu "Cache Menu" is available within the main area of the window and may be used to perform some common actions. Following (activating) a particular entry by any means causes a request, using the corresponding reference, to be made in order to fetch the associated document. The resulting response is handled in the usual manner and commonly causes a viewer window to be opened to display the received document, but it may evenly result in an invocation of the dialog "Save Document" or certain other windows.
